Physical Proof

I have done the marketing plan, copyright and i am now awaiting the physical copy to approve. I am still excited and have been treated great by the company i am using. Things are once again moving forward, there have been some delays, however they have been on my part, particularly financial ones. It does cost money to self publish, and i am grateful to have such good friends/ investors to help me make my way through this adventure. More information will be coming soon, perhaps a look at the website and possibly a release date for The Mushroom King.

Cover Design

Making the final revisions for the cover and getting closer to completion. There were some delays in my posting and in the self publishing process, however, that is changing. Soon i will be making the book available for pre- order. Which will enable me to autograph each copy and get it to those as quick as possible. The whole self publishing journey has been a times exciting and frustrating, yet it seems it will all be worth it. I am very happy with the interior and now the cover design and look forward for the website to be up and running soon.

Full interior layout

I now have the full interior layout, the only thing i want to change is the illustration size and how close they sit to the chapter heading. Everything else from the font and style i chose to the placement of page number,name of author and title of book, look great, i am so excited.

Round one

So i got the manuscript back. So much red, but i knew that was going to happen. Noticing some good changes and comments, still going through it, will give more detail in time.

Editing has begun

And so it begins. The manuscript is now on its way to the editor for the first round of editing. I will be getting two rounds of the best editing available, and a third round is right before the book goes to print, to make sure there are no mistakes.

Assessment

I got back the assessment for my manuscript. The feedback was very good, and they gave me some suggestions before i send it back in. So i am back to the book, going through it with their advice in mind. The next step is the editing. I had a good feeling from their staff, and i am excited to start the editing process..

Moving forward

As i await my editing process, my friend has opened a online Zazzle store. The profits for which will go towards the book inventory and future projects.
